Furious Vince McMahon once tore his both quads on live TV due to the biggest botch in WWE by Dave Ba

The Royal Rumble matches are remembered by fans for multiple reasons. The excitement for the match continues to be year-round, as the stipulation has been around for almost four decades. However, one moment from the 2005 edition will live in infamy as one of the funniest moments from the Rumble, featuring Dave Bautista, John Cena, and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

Batista was scheduled to win the match by eliminating John Cena, as this was his crowning moment. Unfortunately, while executing a powerbomb, both superstars fell down over the top rope at the exact same time. Cena and Batista were visibly confused as to what would happen now. The referees tried to cover up the botch, but could not come up with a solid conclusion.

Vince McMahon, who was backstage, came down to the ring, walking angrily. As soon as he touched the ring and tried to stand in the ring, his quads burst, and both quads gave up at the same time. Therefore, even in extreme pain, Vince sat down awkwardly in the ring and started giving instructions. After McMahon had told both superstars what to do, the match was restarted, and Dave Bautista won the match in a conclusive manner.

Snoop Dogg and The Miz covered up for the botch and entertained the crowd. However, in the press conference after the event, Triple H revealed that Shane had indeed injured his quads.
